Red Cross First Aid Basics

Everyone should be prepared for emergencies!

This 2-hour non-certification workshop will help parents, caregivers, and others be prepared and know what to do if an infant or child chokes or needs CPR.  Run over Zoom by a Canadian Red Cross Certified CPR Instructor, the program will cover the sequence of Check, Call and Care, the basics of CPR for adults, children and infants, recognition and relief of choking for adults, children and infants, EpiPen Administration, dealing with injuries, and more.

We encourage families to attend and learn together - registration is per computer, not per person.  Requirements include a device with audio and video to run Zoom such as a tablet or laptop, stable Internet connection, and a stuffed teddy bear or stuffed doll similar in size to a baby.  After you register, you will receive a unique invitation link to attend the workshop over Zoom.

Interested in other dates or other languages?  We take date requests for 6 registrations or more and have instructors that speak English, French and Spanish.
