UPDATED JANUARY 31, 2018 - Please note that due to flooding and water damage in our office at the Morrison Centre, we have temporarily relocated to 108-8530 Manning Avenue, Fort McMurray. 8530 Manning Avenue is behind Staples/Canadian Tire, the same building as Service Canada. Our main door is on the opposite side of the building and faces the river. We recommend parking at Service Canada and walking around the building. We hope to be back at the Morrison Centre sometime in May.
Directions from Highway 63:
Exit Highway 63 on Hospital Street heading towards downtown. Continue on Hospital Street to Manning Avenue and turn right. You will see Staples and the RBC Bank on your left; shortly after this you will see the entrance to our parking lot. Look for signs for Spring Moon, Cora's and Service Canada (blue point on the map). Park in the public parking by Service Canada (blue P icon on the map) and walk around the building to your right. Our main door is facing Prairie Loop Boulevard (click the blue star on the map for a picture). There is limited parallel parking on the side of the building.
Please see map below:
Our first aid training facility is centrally located in downtown Fort McMurray, in the bottom level of the Morrison Centre (9914 Morrison Street).
Please park in the gravel parking lot on the corner of Macdonald Avenue and Morrison Street (see below picture):
DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING, come inside to Aurora Training Corp and we will give you a parking pass to place in your vehicle.
Come to the main door of the Morrison Centre, go down the stairs and take the first left. Aurora Training Corp is unit # 29 in the basement, near G4S Security.
Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your course - passing your course requires 100% attendance, therefore latecomers may not be allowed in to the course.
We have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water available for students, as well as a refrigerator and microwave. You will receive enough time at lunch to leave the facility and come back for the afternoon, or you can feel free to bring lunch with you.
Please note we do not allow outdoor shoes in the training room. We recommend (but do not require) bringing a pair of indoor shoes or slippers with you. The training room can be chilly at times so you may wish to bring a sweater or jacket.
